Tumacácori National Historical Park Travel Stamp
Tumacacori was the first mission established by Spain in what is now Arizona. Constructed on ancestral land of the O'odham, the church of San Jose de Tumacacori was a focal point of this mission community. Here O'odham, Yaqui, and Apache people met and mingled, in conflict and cooperation, with missionaries, settlers, and soldiers.
